Re-Design of McDonald’s instore materials

“We need you to do redesign of menuboards & instore materials”.
Somehow, quicker then I expected, I made a design and all the little rules & system in it. And somehow, it’s still workin’. One of the big “identity” jobs I did.
So with 2 years delay, I’m posting this baby of mine, which you can check out everyday, in every McDonald’s at Czech republic and Slovakia, for last 2 years (sounds cocky but I don’t care)

Cultural/Context Information:
Plant-based lifestyle continues to grow worldwide. However, it is hard for Czech people to change strictly their eating habits due to strong cultural roots and some people succumb to “all or nothing”. But a little goes a long way, so if people are not ready to commit a major dietary change, even small shifts are worthwhile.
Insight:
“This ad can grow” means that the medium is more than it looks. Literally, it is a grow in the spread of the message, a grow as a cultivation of the seed paper, a grow as a personal elevation and a grow as an improvement for a better world. We wanted to nudge people to participate in the 30-day veggie challenge and support them with a plant that would grow as you grow through the days. Because, introducing more plant-based food can be exciting and fun.

Context:
McDonald’s is a worldwide known fast food brand with iconic products. Mainly for this reason, people don’t know that it is also the main partner of DRMCD which is building homes within hospitals, helping families to stay close to their seriously ill children.
Insight/Strategy:
Through an assembling house kit, DRMCD is representing their simple goal & unique mission: Build families a home. Letting people know that they need everyone’s help to accomplish the project of gathering families together.
Behind the lamb.
One of my visual proposals for PeTA on campaign fighting against deforestation in Australia due to expanding of lamb farms, which has serious consequences for koalas and their natural habitats and also their lives.

I. Joyful campaign for McDonald’s – Month of Joy.
”Unlock new coupon every day with a special discount. But watch out coupon disappears after midnight. So go, download the app, and get your coupons.”
II. December digital campaign for McDonald’s. From 1st to 24th december, every day special coupon is waiting for you in McD app.
III. The most favourite creatures of the world - Minions - came to McDonald’s. My 3rd digital campaign of 2020. Finding gold minions and getting reward.
