Small town roots. Big city soul.

Hi there! My name is David Boleslav, alias Dejvid Jones, which is my artistic nickname/pseudonym.

I was born at small czech town Moravská Třebová. Began my artistic career with composing rap/hip hop beats in 2007. I started beatmaking and music production thanks to hometown local beat competition ‘MyBattle Contest'. Followed by ‘Allelements Remix contest’ (1. Place) and many other competetions. Later, I started slowly working with rap artists from Czechia and Slovakia, trying to make career in music production industry. I managed to get in touch and work with successful and very talented artists and I am very grateful for this era in my life, cause I made long lasting friendships & it helped me later when I switched to art.

- 2014 -
I created my own clothing line named VAMPIRE CLOTHING. Didn’t do anything new for few years but constantly thinking about get back to it. Someday. You know.

It was inspired by my lifestyle and favourite music artists, movies and coulture.
Last collection is from November 2016, when I released 3rd collection named "Till U Make It".

-  2016 -
I returned to my hobby from childhood, painting & drawing, & started doing canvas paintings. Check my PAINTINGS here.

In this year I also started learning and doing graphic design in bigger scale. Mainly for my needs of websites, social profiles and music promotions. Such as artworks & visualizers for YouTube music and Instagram, logos (mine & custom ones), and also illustrations etc. You can check it in MY WORK section. After some time I slowly decided to stop making music for a while and keep working as an painter and designer.

- 2018 -
From beggining of 2018. I started working freelance as a Visual Designer, Painter and Illustrator. Also got my first design job at DDB Prague as Junior Graphic Designer.

- 2020 - now
Working as an Art Director/Designer for DDB Prague. Besides that doing my own projects and focusing on contemporary art. Most on acrylic paintings, calligraphy and lettering. Often doing also merchandise designs for music artists, illustrations and digital prints. Also can do logos, brand identities and rebrandings, digital designs (websites, landing pages, SOME, apps), some projects as UX/UI designer. Feel free to check MY WORK section!
